If you’re looking for the author Heidi Wiechert, you’ve found her. I’ve been a public librarian, a reporter for a Southern Illinois newspaper, and remain a proud mother, now and forever.
In addition to my metaphysical writings, I do reviews of books and film. I’m slowly bringing my catalogue of over 800 reviews from my WordPress blog to Patreon, so there’s plenty of new material coming your way.
Beyond the everyday, I’m a student of western occult studies. The metaphysical stories recorded here are what I actually have experienced during my pathwork (meditations, visions, hypnotic trances) into the Qabalistic Tree of Life through the use of tarot cards.
The Light Congress is a story of inner exploration, self empowerment, adventure, and love. I’ve written a tremendous amount, the first twenty chapters of which I plan to publish in book form later this year.
Why did I write the Light Congress?
Because I believe whoever you are, wherever you’re from, that you have something extraordinary to give to this world, something that only you can give. Please be brave and share your gifts today.

If you’re new to the Light Congress, I recommend starting at the beginning and working your way onwards, but if you’re looking for a particular spiritual path or step along the soul’s journey, feel free to check out whatever chapter or title appeals to you most at this time.
Though it reads like a work of fiction, this journal is a record of my awakening to a greater reality, one of spirit and universality, where concepts like Truth and Love are the beings who walk next to you, literally, as you live your life on this insane little planet- where challenges are not as easy to defeat as a shadow and whoever set all of this in motion is suspiciously silent, leaving all of us guessing at what is the next best step forward.

As I mentioned above, I write the Light Congress through a variety of processes including meditation, channeling techniques, and dreaming of both the day and night.
The Game Handbook is an interpretative analysis of the symbolism in the Light Congress which I’m compiling based on Carl Jung’s and Joseph Campbell’s philosophies. Anthropic’s Claude AI finds the symbols in the text and I put the information together in a way that makes sense to me, as well as including autobiographical details about my real life so that you can connect the dots between my Inner World and the outer one.
For further insights into the process of writing the Game Handbook, I’m enrolled in an online class from Applied Jungian Studies. The class has helped me understand the symbols as well as introducing the notion that we are all on a universal journey of spirit through the examination of stories, art, religion and the intersection of all the above.

The Light Congress and my reviews are a lot of fun to write. I find myself getting lost in the flow of the words for hours. The Game Handbook, on the other hand, is quite a difficult project for me.
The trouble could be as simple as real life sometimes feels like a slap in the face for dreamers. It helps to pretend it is all a game rather than a frighting sojourn through the unknown and dangerous waters of the Sea of Consciousness.
The time spent on the journey to self knowledge is never wasted but, in my case, it has certainly been winding. I hope that my struggles shine a light onto the path for future seekers of the mysteries.
On that note, the Light Congress is a bit sprawling and covers a lot of different concepts. If you’re only interested in one topic or subject, I’ve enabled the locked entries on Patreon for singular purchase as well.
